As you probably know, I've been ditching quite a few group events recently. I'm really sorry. Here are my excuses reasons:
1. I didn't go to the beach outing because I was lazy. Sorry.
2. I'm so sorry for saying I'll be there but didn't end up turning up for kayaking. The day before, (Thursday) I had uni and I think the sun really got to me because I felt pretty unwell when I got home. That plus a strangely sore shoulder - a soreness that didn't go away for the whole night. The kayaking day, which was Friday, was very very VERY hot and I knew if I went that day I would've gotten much worse.
3. I'm so sorry for not turning up to Sunday's volleyball practice. You see, my net was down the WHOLE FREAKEN DAY on Saturday plus a GOOD HALF of Sunday. Hence by the time I saw the email that Ian sent around (saying it would be from 2-5pm), it was already 5pm. =___=" This is also hugely my fault because I actually forgot about the practice. No joke. I think the sun really fried my brain this time. Serious.
I'm sounding like I'm making excuses for myself don't I? Well, it's your choice whether or not to believe me.
As I said, I'M SORRY!!! I deserve to be slapped like this:
wow.. sure is quiet around here nowadays.. looks like this is the first blog for the new year.. (hopefully its not the last haha) havn't really done much lately... except get sunburnt lol went to taronga zoo on thursday... took the m5 and headed straight for the mosman area... city roads are so friggen hectic.. total traffic chaos... but yeah the family decided to go coz we havn't gone there in ages went to check out most of the animals.. and we also got to see the 'seal show' and the 'free flying bird show'... the animals are so damn smart haha... had a quick lunch there... like damn... $4.60 for a hotdog?!... the new elephant enclosure with the 'thai' themed buildings sure did look cool... got to take a bunch of photos of random animals.. haha... the lions were pretty cool.. bloody huge cats.. on the way back.. we totally got confused at the area that takes us back into the sydney harbour tunnel.. so we ended up going on the bridge.. on a road that wasn't planned on our trip at all.. ended up going through the anzac bridge and heading for the general burwood area... guess it was fun though haha even though i got sunburnt (not too badly anyway) on friday.. yesterday... went to the beach with the sefton people... 2 days of sunburn! haha... well like always.. we caught the ferry to manly and set up a volleyball game... i guess beach volleyball is cool coz u can't really get hurt.. but yeah it was bloody hot and repetitive coz we never played an actual game.. just rallying(lame!) lunch was (as always) fish and chips and soft drinks.. hehe.. although mandy did go for the 'healthier' option of grilled-salmon and chips i think... went for a dip in the water after.. guess it was alright (can't really get any more fun).. at the end of the day.. we went to this japanese restaurant place on george street.. 'fujiya'..... food there was quite nice.. but i loved the drink that i got... 'peach chuhai'... its a sweet japanese spirit mix... maybe it was because i was thirsty but *shrug*.. reckon i'll be popping back there again sometime... well anyway.. that sums up the most recent things i have done... guess there'll be a lot more things to do in the few weeks we still have... need to get a hat for the kayaking thing next week... i want one of those aussie wide-brimmed hats.. haha.. learnt that a baseball cap does jack all in providing shade... so until then.. cheers -dannyboi
another lazy day passed....wots bn happenin? on tuesday a friend joyce came over and we booked to do our RSA and RCG after new year, then we watched "meet the fockers"...it was hiiiiiiiilariiiiiiiious....especially the baby! "ass....hoooole...." *rofl* then went to get mai student id on wed...went with another friend, winston. aish it was suuuuch a gay weather. it was lyk fuuuuuulllll pourin wen i left the house but as soon as i got to the station, it stopped and never rained agen for the rest of the day until i got home. so i bloody got soaked for nothing....should hav left house later.....n we met up at central n was goin to take a bus since we thout it would still be pourin but as i said it stopped. anyway so met up at central but we didnt noe wot bus to catch anyway so ended up walkin to uni. at uni, we realised we had to get our student id at the redfern campus n datz more walkin.....n den we took the wrong road n walked the long way to the id place....soooooooooo gay....too much walkin.... watched "the descend" later. it was pretty good....couldnt take it wen the main character got trapped in this tiny ass tunnel and the rocks were collapsin on her *shiver....rock back n forth* and there were the "crawlers"....sooooooo disturbin wen they do the close up shots of their faces and them eatin sum1 alive.....then went home.... thursday went to this "staff meetin" for this coachin place...got a whoooooole stack of work i have to do to teach the kids n i have to do them because theres no bloody answer...jus great! stuck with yr 9 and 10 maths for summer... ok....no more for today....bro complainin hes hungry so i havta cook for him....aish i miss the days of me home alone already n its only the first day....*sigh* laterz
After cleaning the house in the morning and having Annie and AmyJ over, AmyJ and I set out for the group outing today. The outing planning had many many changes but in the end, we decided on a Korean restaurant. Having told AmyJ that we'd go together in the afternoon and catch the TWO FIFTY-FOUR train from her station, I was dumbstruck when I received a message from her saying she's sorry for missing the train, at ONE FIFTY-FOUR!! =__=" The silly girl wrote the time down wrong. So then she came over to my place because she's too lazy to go back home. BAKA!
Met up with AmyY, Mandy, Mel and Xing at a bookstore. Yes, they were passing their time in a bookstore. We kind of just doodled around the store until 4:30-ish then headed over to Market City for more doodling. Danny then AmyW came a while later and that completes the attendance list. Walked to Seoul-Ria and started filling our stomachs.
Deciding what to eat was a big task *nod nod*.
Since there were only two menus between the eight of us and I wasn't contributing to the decision-making, I saw this as a photo opportunity.

through discussing with amy jin and tian... it seems like that we're all in the need for going out to the BEACH (i went today and it was so bloody nice!!! hahaha)! i'm guessing that people have no complaints about this? apparently... i've been voted as the person to organise this thing.. so in my goodwill... i will organise it... however i need some details from you guys first... WHAT BEACH? WHO CAN GO? WHEN?(suggest a day of the week for your availability... it'll most likely happen AFTER jin's thingy)... WHAT WE CAN DO THERE? (we need activities that we can do.. otherwise it'll get pretty boring real easily)....any other details would be nice as well... please get in contact with me.. or simply leave a comment
another outing idea... as suggested by mel... is KAYAKING or CANOEING [not CANYONING as mel misread down in the blue mountains..! haha] (i don't know what the difference is!).... we're trying to make it as close to sydney as possible.. because we have a lack of cars and drivers... and we've found several possible locations.. one being bundeena (opposite cronulla) and the other one being manly... the idea is that we hire some kayaks (doubles or even triple seaters) and go out and row for the day as a group... personally... i've checked out the manly one and i reckon it would be easier for us to get there... and the pricing isn't toooooooo steep... maximum is $50 each person for a double seater (8 hours use).... although the most ideal one is the 3 hour one that costs $55 for the 2 people ($27.50 each :P)... right now i don't have all the details on availability and costs and equipment provided (we obviously want lifejackets!).. but.. i (and mel) would like some feedback on this possible outing.. so we can decide if its worthwhile or not... contact me or mel!

It is a good idea to place a booking at least 1 day in advance if it is only you or 2 - 3 days if there is a group.We take a credit card number to hold the booking and you can pay on the day as you wish (eg. cash, eftpos or credit card.) We don't have lockers but you can use our dry bags to bring your belongings with you or leave it in our administration office at the wharf." so i guess the costs cover just about everything we need....
i understand that some people may not be able to make the outings due to work commitments (thats right amy wang... i'm looking at u)... or other commitments at home... so we have to get together and decide whats the best option for us...

guess its my turn to blog again... lol its been... *looks at calendar*.. a bit over 2 weeks of holidays for me so far.. and i have done basically jack all...been out only once.. to a friend's bday havn't been feeling fully happy though.. still freaked out about my exam results (mostly freaked out about maths)... managed to get one back though... D for professional engineering (iceberg across the lake subject).. woohoo.. but that was kinda expected.. well until i get ALL of my results and i PASS ALL of my exams i won't be happy... birthday party i went to was a uni friend's bday... jess... if any of you know/met her... i was able to get a lift from another friend, rod, and his girlfriend naomi... (she was driving).. haha.... have to be thankful to her since she had to drive the guys there and back without being able to drink lol.... jess's place was all the way down in glenmore park.. just about the penrith area... it was awkward meeting her friends at first... but we got to know them and they were pretty nice and all... essentially the day consisted of me bringing some booze... rod getting more booze... jess's friends bringing their booze.. and barbeque food got shoved in there somewhere haha.... rod and jess played 'shot chess' where the chess pieces were shot pieces half-filled (half a shot so they didnt get too drunk) with alcohol(namely baileys) and the loser had to drink the losing piece.... apparently i had to clear the table at the end of the game so yeah.. baileys for me lol.... i had a bunch of drinks and i was way tipsy my the end of the night... beer, beer, baileys(chess game), beer, beer, jimbeam+coke and a woodstock+coke (woodstock/coke was from jess [also tipsy] coz she was convinced that i didn't drink anything that night even though my eyes were red and i was sitting there talking about crap.. lol)... we ended leaving earlier instead of sleeping over coz people were getting way drunk and breaking stuff and abusing each other hahaha but i guess that was fun overall the next day... family went to this 'all-u-can-eat' yum cha place down in canley heights.. the food and service there was quite good.. although it was more of a vietnamese sort of palate than a chinese one... everything was basically based around this prawn/seafood paste haha...but *shrug* what can i expect? spent my day today working the garden.. my back is so gonna die tonight... just using the lawn trimmer/edger and axe to chop up lawn and stuff lol i agree with mandy that we have to arrange some sort of outing... like seriously... holidays.. exams over... we've been waiting for this moment for the whole year... haha... i say go out.. grab drinks.. grab food.. rock over to someone's place and chill out/catch up.... or alternatively.. go beaches.... dinner somewhere.. movies... road trip.. whatever! just as long as theres easy transport for everyone i'll be there.... c'mon guys... ideas ideas ideas - dannyboi
First and foremost, I'd like to thank Tian for making the effort of fixing up the site. Secondly, can we PLZ do something??? i am sooo bored, I thought about going to watch the movie happy feet since it looks like something tian might enjoy.... but then again maybe its already come and gone from the cinemas since i couldnt find any cinemas that showed it. Anyway! I went shopping today all by myself *sob* and for some reason I wanted to try a bikini out, was quite strange when i put it on in the change room and i felt too naked so i didn't go out and look in the mirror.... good thing too that i didnt do that cos as i was walking out, i just realised i was in the MENS change room..... omg how embarrassing, the guy that was working there just stared at me whilst i walked out with the bikini's :S. yeh well, i dont think i'll be wearing anything like that anytime soon since its such a morbid concept to me. well its been a while since my last blog... and by the looks of it.. my last blog was literally the last blog around here cheers to anyone still reading this... finally... my exams are over!! yay... hahaha... that was a traumatic 2 weeks.... i reckon i stuffed up the 2 maths exams i had... hope theres enough scaling and pity marks for me to pass... failing would be a fugly bitch i would like to keep away from after the exams... i went with one of my uni friends to get a few drinks at manning bar..... ended up with 2 jugs of beer between us... tooheys extra dry and the black tooheys old.... damn that wasnt a great move... we both ended up hectically tipsy afterwards... things along the lines of "hey man.. are u feeling tipsy as well man? or is it just me....?".. we actually made it back all the way to redfern station first day of holidays today.... didnt do much.. just went out for food shopping... ended up buying this denim jacket/shirt thingo... its too thick and heavy to be a shirt.. and doesnt exactly fall under the "jacket" category as well.. lol seeing that theres heaps of holidays left.. we should really go out as much as possible... i'll try my best to remember your names (just kidding.. =P).... oh well... back to my bludging... yay.. getting a gameboy sp sometime this week... lol old-school games are the way to go... anyways.. signing off -danny

at least its all over now... got 3 exams coming up then its all over!!!! yay hahaha... ahhhh.... its nice to sit around and do nothing.. hahaha had to go to a uni friend's place today to do some group work... you know.. the iceberg project... hahaha we spent bloody 6 hours trying to make an engine that runs on candle energy and would power the iceblock 25m... and you know what happened?! we ended up with half a tin can.. attached to a wooden barbeque skewer.. that was 6 hours worth of work... that wont get the iceblock to budge.. let alone go bloody 25m!!!! lol.. interesting part of the day though was that his place was in roseville.. next to chatswood.. i've never actually set foot in that area... got a lift from a buddy of his.. subaru forester 4wd... had a race between a 4wd and a bike from the station to the guy's place.. bike only lost by a bit... went down to some local shops for lunch.. i went to this deli and got myself a 'lemon herb chicken with sundried tomatoes and marinated mushroom sandwich with turkish bread' damn thats a mouthful.. the people in the area seem to be... more snobby/posh.. but i guess thats what u get with north sydney people... met a few asian chicks there.. haha.. they seem nice and all but too bad i didnt leave any details to catch up got a lift back home from another guy in the group... speeding along in a manual mitsubish magna from chatswood to wiley park.. shit that was scary... if i was driving like that guy.. we wouldve crashed like 30 times! hahaha oh well.. thats about it... to anyone who has actually read this.. thanks for reading... :P dannyboi
hey people! hope your enjoying the holidays so far! cos im sure not :S staying at home trying to find stuff to do is pretyt hard when your capped. Anyway, it would be great if we could all get out together for a day this week. I have a suggestion that is to go out for buffet on saturday since its a seafood night, but im open to other suggestions. I hope you guys will take pity on me and take me out for an outing since i have to look after mum during the week. Hope to hear from you guys reall soon!

(getting weird looks from people passing by) hiding from noone.. hahaha... i only found out on the way to the station when they met up with me... Sorry for the lack of updates from me lately. Honestly, nothing but exams have been happening. And from here on, nothing but assignments will be happening, so I guess you guy'll have to excuse my lack of attendance on this blog :P!
